St John's wort oil

St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is named after St John, because it flowers near the day on which he is celebrated, 24 June. This herb has a long history dating back to the 1st century AD, when Roman soldiers used it as balsam for skin and mental disorders. St. John's wort extracts contain hypericin, hyperforin, flavonoids, and tannins, known for their rejuvenating, beneficial and protective action on the skin.
